Chilewich Ikat Tweed 72″ Floor Covering Fabric

This is a beautiful floor covering fabric from Chilewich. Perfect for marine environments, Chilewich Floor Covering fabric is durable, stain resistant, mold and mildew resistant, antistatic and impervious to moisture. This fabric is an innovative blend of vinyl and fiberglass with a 100% thermoplastic polyolefin backing, making it easy to work with as it cuts without fraying. It sews easily with a V-92 thread and #20 needle. You can also glue it to a surface with AAT 390 Marine & Exterior Adhesive (sold separately). It is easy to clean and maintain; simply brush, vacuum or spray with water to keep this fabric looking great.

Chilewich Floor Covering fabric is an exceptional solution where style, comfort and durability are a concern. Chilewich products contain Microban^®, which inhibits the growth of stain- and odor-causing bacteria, mold and mildew. Some patterns may exhibit light and dark shading in the material, which is not considered a flaw but rather an effect of the weaving process. Chilewich Floor Covering fabrics are perfect for snap-in marine mats, boat carpeting, patio and outdoor rugs, placemats and coasters. This product is compatible with most adhesives and has an excellent fatigue life.

A Note about Bow and Skew: The weave of Chilewich fabrics may not run parallel to the cut edge; therefore, any wave, bow or skew in the product is normal and not considered a flaw. The tolerance for bow and skew is 1-1/2 inches in either direction.
